I am a third year graduate student of History and Digital Media. Prior to coming to graduate school, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society. This training in two different fields is sometimes at odds with each other, but have given me a unique perspective. I specialize in twentieth century American and Latin American history with an emphasis on drug and crime history. Currently, I am working on my thesis that explores the role of the U.S-Mexican border on juvenile delinquency in southern California during the post-war era.

When I am not being a studious student, I can be found enjoying life in southern California and being the world's only Hello Kitty obsessed metal head. I try to travel where ever and when ever I can. Seeing new places, near and far, is always exciting and is always an opportunity to learn something new.
