What to say, I am a graduate student at California State University, San Marcos. I received my Bachelors of Arts in History from CSUSM also. I am extremely interested in Foreign Policy between the United States and the Middle East in the 1780's-1820's. While this seems like a strange time that the United States might be interacting with the Middle East, it is one time that has helped shape interactions between the US and Middle Eastern nations now. While this is my area of interest, my thesis is focusing on the media and how it played into the public sphere and shaped policy of the American's about the Barbary States. When I am not reading books on the public sphere and researching about the common mans interest in the affairs of the government, I can be found snorkeling with my husband in La Jolla or visiting the wineries in Temecula. I love to read and I love to travel and when I get the chance to do it I try to take it.
